Standing Rules

STANDING RULES OF CHAI - Chavurat Yehudim March 21, 2007 1) The annual meeting shall be held at the FMCA summer convention. 2) The second required business meeting shall be held at the FMCA winter convention. 3) Two vice presidents shall be elected: one to represent the East and one to represent the West . 4) The election of officers shall take place in all even numbered years at the annual meeting. 5) Whenever there is more than one (1) candidate for the same office, voting shall be done by written ballot. 6) Newly elected officers shall begin their term of office immediately after the FMCA summer convention. 7) The election of the nominating committee shall take place in all odd numbered years at the annual meeting. 8) The Nominating Committee Chairperson shall serve as the presiding officer conducting the election. 9) Annual dues for membership in the chapter shall be $5 for one (1) year or $18 for four (4) years . 10) These standing rules may be amended at a CHAI business meeting by a majority vote of the members present.
